Our Practice

Dr. Jeffrey Thompson was born in Portland, OR, but grew up right here in Spokane, WA. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast who is very proud to say that he is a PNW native, "born and raised". He graduated from Carroll College in Helena, MT with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2012. He then graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR in 2016. He now resides in Spokane, WA with his wife, Dr. Kristine Thompson, as well as their two young daughters and Australian shepherd, Huckleberry. 

Understanding and relating to his patients is very important to Dr. Thompson, and he strives to ensure that all of his patients leave his office knowing that he took the time to listen and address all of their concerns. He understands the value of clear sight and eye health, and feels honored to help provide that to his patients.

Dr. Kristine Thompson grew up in the small town of Rugby, North Dakota. She graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2013. She then attended optometry school at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR and graduated in 2017. Shortly after optometry school, she moved to Spokane to reside and practice alongside her husband, Dr. Jeffrey Thompson. 

Dr. Thompson truly enjoys serving the people of Spokane, Spokane Valley, and the surrounding communities by providing high-quality eye care. Her goal is to ensure her patients are cared for and listened to when it comes to all eye care needs. She hopes to establish long term patients who trust in her to care for their sight and eye health.

In her free time, Dr. Kristine enjoys getting outside and spending time with her friends and family. She and Jeff have two young daughters, Ayla and Avery, and an energetic Australian shepherd, Huckleberry, who keep them busy!

Dr. Larry Thompson is a Graduate of Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree (1973) and Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR (1987). He also served in the US Air Force from 1973-1995 and the Oregon Air National Guard in Portland, Oregon from 1980-1989.

He has lived in Spokane since 1991 and enjoys fishing, golfing, skiing, and most all outdoor activities that the PNW has to offer. He worked in Spokane at his private practice inside Vision Works at the Northtown Mall for 23 years where his goal was always to provide high-quality eye care to all of his patients. Though he is now retired, Dr. Larry Thompson occasionally comes in to work at Serenity Eye Care's North Division office on Saturdays and is still committed to helping patients achieve clear vision and healthy eyes.
